We are seeking a motivated and reliable Lab assistant to join Downer, a road surfacing crew in Bathurst NSW.
Your role is to help assist road construction materials to make sure they meet quality standards.
What you'll do in the role:
Collect or receive materials like asphalt, soil and gravel
Label, prepare and store sample correctly
Follow set procedures and standards for each test
Help keep the lab organised and safe
Work closely with senior technicians and supervisors
What is required from you:
Lab experience is preferred but not essential
Be able to work days and nights
Able to pass pre-employment medical
Driver's licence essential
Whitecard is a must
Have great teamwork and reliability
Safety focused
