Turn progress into possibility.As a Trainee Dental Assistant, you'll kickstart your career in oral health, working alongside experienced Dental Assistants, Senior Dental Assistants, Dentists, and Dental Technicians in a supportive and hands-on setting.
You'll gain valuable experience assisting with a variety of dental procedures, including extractions, dentures, and fillings, while developing practical skills that make a real difference.

The Oral Health Service forms part of Queensland Health's public oral health care system and is committed to improving access to high quality patient centred care.

About your role:
In this position you will....
.
Learn to prepare equipment, instruments and materials utilised in a variety of dental procedures.
Learn the knowledge and understanding of the stages within a dental procedure combined with ability to pre‐plan and adapt as treatment proceeds.
Learn to identify and fix minor equipment problems and refer to the appropriate repair departments/persons with accurate fault description.
