About Us: We are seeking a full-time permanent Trade Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team at our workshop in West Gosford. We specialise in servicing and maintaining our own fleet of vehicles, which includes rigid trucks, prime movers, Truck and Dogs, trailers, construction and plant equipment. All of our trucks are only dealing with construction waste and are not exposed to food or odoured waste. Pay: AU$77,000.00 – AU$87,000.00 per year Key Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining and servicing a safe and reliable fleet of vehicles and equipment
Perform basic and major truck and trailer servicing in compliance with NHVR accreditation
Work on modern trucks and equipment, including Isuzu, Kenworth, DAF,
Kubota, CAT
Monitor and inspect plant equipment as required
Skills and Experience:
AQF Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent or relevant experience
Previous experience in a similar role for at least 2 years
Completing accurate records of repairs and servicing
Reliable and honest
