Senior Mental Health Clinician – Youth
12 month fixed term contract

We are currently seeking an experienced Mental Health Clinician to join a community-based youth mental health service.
This role involves working with young people and their families who are experiencing a range of mental health challenges.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing assessment, case management, therapeutic interventions, and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities
Complete mental health assessments for young people.
Provide evidence-based therapeutic support and interventions.
Manage a caseload of clients and coordinate care plans.
Work closely with families, schools, health professionals and community services.
Participate in team meetings, case discussions and service development activities.
Deliver education and mental health promotion activities within the community.
Essential Requirements
Qualification in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Nursing or Social Work.
Relevant professional registration or membership.
Experience working with children, adolescents or young adults experiencing mental health concerns.
Robust assessment, case management and therapeutic skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Current driver's licence.
Desirable
Experience working in community mental health services.
Understanding of early intervention and youth mental health.
Experience working within regional or rural settings.
