We're a family-owned and run building business with a robust reputation across South East Queensland, and we're looking for a Construction Estimator to join our growing team.

You’ll be estimating and tendering across a genuinely varied mix of residential projects, helping us win the right jobs and set them up for success from the start. If you’ve got a sharp eye for detail, a head for numbers, and enjoy the challenge of a tight tender deadline, you’ll fit right in.

The Work
Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
Attend site meetings for tender opportunities
Review and interpret tender documents, and respond to all requirements
Prepare detailed scopes of work and tender response documents
Prepare comprehensive estimates within required timeframes
Liaise with trades and suppliers to confirm accurate costings and timeframes
Prepare Bills of Quantities upon award of tender
Communicate regularly and effectively with all stakeholders
Assist with project scheduling and management as required

About You
At least 5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally in the Brisbane region
Sound understanding of the tender process and a track record of successful submissions
Understanding of local construction standards and codes
Proven ability to produce accurate building cost estimates
Strong communication and organisational skills
Competent PC skills, including the Microsoft Office suite
A skilled manner, both in person and on the phone
