The Role
We are looking for motivated and passionate Registered Nurses to join our friendly team!
Employment Type: Full-Time (38 hours per week on a rotating roster)
Remuneration: $*****- $***** per hour, dependent on experience(Registered Nurse Level 1 Above Award, Nurses Award ****).
Responsibilities
Deliver professional competent care to clients
Provide information and education to enable people to make decisions
Supervise and when appropriate delegate care to EN's, AIN's, student nurses and other healthcare workers
Develop, review and maintain nursing care plans and other health records
Monitor and evaluate nursing care provided
Identify areas of care for escalation to meet the changing needs of clients
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
Collect and report on the clinical information of clients
Document all care according to policy
Participate in regular handovers




Liaise with parents and carers where necessary
Report incidents and hazards
Flexibility: Availability to work across the week
Enthusiasm: A compassionate and positive attitude
Teamwork: Effective interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse groups and work in a multidisciplinary team
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills
Adaptability: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions as required and modify tasks for optimal patient care
Time Management: Ability to prioritise responsibilities
Qualifications
Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (APHRA) as a Registered Nurse
Working with Children Check
NDIS Workers Check
Police Check
DCJ Check
First Aid & CPR Certificate
Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute or disability care setting
Experience working with children and young adults with complex medical needs and/or chronic illness.
