The Role
We are offering an exciting opportunity for apermanent full-timeposition within our Engineering Educational Delivery team at TAFE Queensland SkillsTech.
As a TAFE Teacher in Engineering, you will play a vital role in shaping the careers of the next generation by sharing your expertise and industry experience with students across classroom and practical learning environments.
This position reports directly to the relevant Business Manager and Educational Team Leader.

Mandatory Requirements
Applicants must possess relevant industry qualifications.MEM***** - Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Fitting & Machining)or equivalent and the following:
current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided;
current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided;
evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency‐based training and assessment;
Additionally, to become a TAFE Queensland teacher you must hold, or be willing to obtain, a qualification in adult education.
Primarily this qualification is TAE***** Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent.
Please note applicants need not necessarily possess teaching experience, as the right candidate may be trained and developed through coaching, mentoring and partnering.
Importance is placed on possession of the appropriate qualifications,
industry experience and the right attitude.
