About the Role
As Learning & Development Manager, Sydney Airport you are accountable for workforce readiness across Certis' Sydney Airport portfolio through translating legislation, airport requirements and operational realities into high-quality training, accreditation and coaching—ensuring every employee is compliant, capable and audit-ready each shift.
Key Responsibilities
Lead training governance aligned to CISC, Aviation Screening Notice ****, ATS Act and RTO standards
Manage learning Management System (Moodle) as single source of truth – ensuring audit traceability and compliance
Enforce pre-roster competency gate – no deployment without current accreditation
Lead induction, recurrent training and CPD programs
Execute internal and external audits (CISC, ASQA, Sydney Airport)
Drive data-led improvement using LMS and operational insights
Lead training, coaching and scheduling teams
About You




Must have Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE***** or equivalent
Experience leading training and accreditation in regulated environments
Strong audit, compliance and RTO framework capability
Expertise in assessment integrity and document control
Robust stakeholder engagement with regulators and operations
