The Opportunity
We're partnering with a well-established not-for-profit aged care provider to recruit aMaintenance Officerfor a full-time permanent opportunity in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day, takes pride in maintaining protected and welcoming environments, and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
You'll work across both Residential Aged Care and Retirement Living, helping ensure buildings, gardens and outdoor spaces are well maintained for residents and staff.
Key Information
Full-time permanent position (76 hours per fortnight)
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday – Residential Aged Care
Tuesday – Retirement Living
Up to$***** per hour + Super + Salary Packaging(trade qualified)
$***** per hour + Super + Salary Packaging(non-trade)
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Completing general maintenance and repair work
Basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry and building maintenance
Gardening and grounds maintenance including mowing, hedging and general upkeep
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance
Responding to reactive maintenance requests
Ensuring maintenance works meet compliance requirements
Promoting safe work practices and contributing to Work Health & Safety
About You
To be successful, you'll have:




Current Australian Driver's Licence
Previous maintenance or building experience
Trade qualification (highly regarded)
Strong general maintenance skills across multiple trades
Basic computer skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience within aged care or retirement living (desirable)
Experience in building, plumbing, welding or a related trade (desirable)
Applicants must have unrestricted Australian working rights.
