On the Job Traineeship - Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care - Full time (38 hours per week)

Cullunghutti Aboriginal Child and Family Centre prides itself on being a place of belonging for all children, their families, and the Shoalhaven community.
Our centre is dedicated to all Elders, past and present, for their valuable knowledge, wisdom, and loving care passed on to our Boori's and their families, as well as the community.
Childrens safety, rights and best interests are paramount in all aspects of our organisation and we strongly uphold our child safety policies and procedures.
Child Safety and Wellbeing take priority over all other considerations, and are emedded within everyday practice.
Cullunghutti is a culturally safe special place for children and families and staff to connect, grow, and learn together, reflecting and strengthening Aboriginal identity within the wider community.
It brings together a range of early childhood, health, and family support services to improve education, health, wellbeing, and quality of life for Aboriginal children and families, and helps them learn and grow to become the future leaders of our community.
Cullunghutti Aboriginal Child and Family Centre was established under the Indigenous Early Childhood Development National Partnership Agreement (IECDNP), as a Closing the Gap initiative.
We are a not-for-profit organisation, and self-managed by our Aboriginal community.
We are looking for educators who believe every child deserves to feel safe, respected, and heard.
About our Centres:
CULLUNGHUTTI EARLY LEARNING CENTREis a purpose built centre located in South Nowra, catering to children from birth – 6 years.
Shifts vary from 7.30am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
CULLUNGHUTT PRESCHOOLis a community based Preschool in West Nowra, catering for children from 3-5 years.
This is a genuine identified Aboriginal position in accordance with Clause 14.
D of the Anti-Discrimination Act ****.
Willingness to undertake a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Commitment to study and work at the same time.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
A genuine interest and passion for working with young children.
Working with Children Check and police check must be completed prior to commencement.
A positive friendly manner.
Ability to form respectful, responsive relationships with children, families and the local community.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Must be 18 years and over.
Passionate about Early childhood.
