Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Work site environment: Dusty. Cold/refrigerated. Odours. Hot. Noisy.
Work setting: Relocation costs covered by employer. Microbrewery.
Tasks: Minimize hazards at all stages of the food production process. Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies. Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions. Prepare production and other reports. Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervise, co‐ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Establish methods to meet work schedules and co‐ordinate work activities with other work units. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Resolve product and service related problems. Oversee production.
Supervision: 5-10 people. Labourers in food, beverage and tobacco processing. Process control and machine operators, food and beverage processing.
Regulations knowledge: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Fast‐paced environment. Handling heavy loads. Attention to detail. Work under pressure.
