As a Senior Design Manager, you will:
Oversee the design process and design managers for high end, multi-storey residential and commercial projects
Review and maintain design briefs and client deliverables, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards, statutory requirements, and the Building Code of Australia.
Collaborate with contractors, consultants and stakeholders to deliver cutting-edge, sustainable, and cost-effective design solutions that meet project objectives.
Oversee safety in design, sustainability targets (e.g., Green Star/NABERS), and ensure buildability and quality expectations are achievable.
Manage design budgets, timelines, and scope changes while supporting tenders, ECI, and value engineering initiatives.
Manage design documentation, approvals, and reporting, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project milestones.

6+ years in multi-story, high end residential and commercial project experience
Experience working on site with clients, contractors and cross functional teams,



with a track record of delivering on promises and exceeding expectations.
Exceptional leadership skills, a clear communicator, who sets high standards, and inspires teams through trust and empowerment.
Strategic thinker who anticipates challenges, makes confident decisions, and thrives in uncertain situations.
Detail oriented, self-starter with a passion for safety and wellbeing.
Tertiary qualifications in Architecture or a related discipline, and proven experience managing design development and delivery on complex projects.
