Southlakes Anglican Church is seeking expressions of interest for the role of Rector for our vibrant and growing parish in Morisset, located in the beautiful Southlakes region of Lake Macquarie, approximately two hours north of Sydney within the Diocese of Newcastle.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a welcoming, committed congregation passionate about worship, discipleship, pastoral care, and community engagement. Southlakes Anglican Church enjoys strong lay leadership, active ministry participation, financial stability, and the support of an engaged Parish Council.
We are looking for a prayerful and pastorally minded leader who will:
Preach and teach God's Word faithfully and effectively;
Provide spiritual leadership and pastoral care across the parish;
Encourage discipleship,



mission, and ministry development;
Work collaboratively with parish leaders, volunteers, and the wider community;
Foster a culture of prayer, hospitality, and Christian growth.
The successful applicant will join a healthy parish community with significant opportunities for ministry and outreach in one of New South Wales fastest-growing regions.
A comfortable four-bedroom Rectory is provided as part of the appointment.
