We are currently seeking an experienced
Chef
to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is suited to a skilled culinary professional with experience in preparing authentic Pakistani and Indian cuisine, menu development, kitchen operations, and maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and preparing food, developing menu items, supervising kitchen operations, managing food preparation processes, and ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare,
and cook a variety of authentic Pakistani and Indian dishes in accordance with established recipes, quality standards, and customer expectations.
Develop, refine, and introduce menu items while maintaining authenticity, consistency, and quality of traditional Pakistani and Indian cuisine.
Prepare ingredients, spice blends, marinades, sauces, curries, rice dishes, grilled items, and speciality dishes using appropriate cooking techniques.
Manage daily food preparation activities to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service delivery.
Monitor food quality, taste, portion control, presentation, and consistency of all dishes before service.
Coordinate kitchen operations during service periods to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality food production.
Supervise, train, and provide guidance to cooks and other kitchen staff regarding food preparation techniques, recipes, presentation standards, and hygiene requirements.
Allocate kitchen tasks and monitor staff performance to maintain effective food preparation processes.
Monitor stock levels, inspect the quality of ingredients, and coordinate ordering of food supplies to support kitchen requirements.
Manage food preparation processes to minimise food wastage and maintain cost efficiency.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards,
hygiene regulations, and workplace health and safety requirements.
Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and safety of kitchen areas, equipment, and food storage facilities.
Assist with menu planning, recipe development, and improvement of existing dishes based on customer preferences and industry trends.
Monitor customer feedback and make recommendations to improve food quality and dining experience.
Maintain records relating to food preparation procedures, stock control, and kitchen compliance requirements.
What We're Looking For
Relevant qualification in commercial cookery, hospitality, or a related field.
Minimum one year of relevant experience as a Chef or similar culinary role.
Experience preparing
authentic Pakistani and Indian cuisine
is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of traditional cooking methods, ingredients, spices, and food preparation techniques.
Experience developing menu items and maintaining consistency of food quality.
Experience supervising and coordinating kitchen staff in a restaurant environment.
Sound understanding of food safety requirements, hygiene standards, and kitchen operations.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple food preparation activities.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high food quality standards.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
