About the role
Reporting to the Accountant, you'll take ownership of our accounts payable and accounts receivable functions while providing valuable support to the Management Accountant. It's a varied, hands-on role where accuracy, organisation and a proactive attitude really matter — especially around month-end.
What you'll be doing
Accounts Payable
Entering invoices for all purchases and supplies into Pronto (ERP) system
Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies
Reconciling supplier statements
Generating and filing the supplier payment run via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
Reconciling credit card accounts
Processing employee expense claims
Setting up new suppliers




Managing the accounts mailboxes
Accounts Receivable
Processing customer receipts
Payment/debt recovery
Reconciling payments
Other
Completing all transactions and reconciliations ahead of the month-end period roll
Assisting the Management Accountant with end-of-month financial reporting
Maintaining accurate records in Pronto and SharePoint
What you'll bring
Previous experience in an accounts receivable and robust focus on accounts payable
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Solid reconciliation skills and confidence working to month-end deadlines
Good working knowledge of accounting or ERP systems (experience with Pronto is a plus, but not essential)
Sound Microsoft Excel skills
Great communication and a team-first, can-do attitude
The ability to juggle competing priorities and stay organised
