Hunter River Hotel is seeking a Chef de Partie or an experienced Cook to join our team in East Maitland, NSW. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our guests in a rapid-paced, full-service hotel workplace. This is a full-time role, with opportunities for career growth and development within our organisation.

What you'll be doing
Preparing and cooking a variety of meals from our diverse menu
Ensuring all dishes are presented to the highest standard
Maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards
Contributing to the development of recent menu items
Providing excellent customer service to restaurant guests
Collaborating with the kitchen team to deliver a seamless dining experience

What we’re looking for
Proven experience as a Chef or experienced cook in a hotel, restaurant or similar high-volume food service environment
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation




Excellent time management and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals
Excellent communication and teamwork skillset
