Are you passionate about training? We are seeking a hospitality trainer & assessor to join our highly motivated, professional team.
Casual Position - Cairns
Due to continued growth, National Joblink is seeking a passionate, motivated hospitality trainer & assessor to join our friendly team to train hospitality skills to local participants.
Requirements
TAE***** Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, or equivalent/higher
Hospitality qualification backed up with industry experience
About You:
Self-motivated, reliable, flexibleand energetic,with a positive outlook
Self-starter with excellent organisation,communication, and people skills both verbally and written
Strong relationship builder with an entrepreneurial spirit
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to people from all walks of life
Excellent communicator with outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including high level of attention to detail
High skilled and ethical standards
Strong administration and computerskills (MS Office)
Sense of humour and the ability to be flexible and adaptable
Current driver's license and own reliable vehicle
Current Working with Children - Blue Card
Current vocational currency &competencies; in Hospitality
Knowledge of Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTO's) ****
Maintainprofessional development as per ASQA requirements, including maintaining industry currency and vocational competencies to the level of delivery and assessment
Contribute to the operations and "I can make a difference attitude"




Minimum of 5 year's current and relevant industry experience in the specific vocational area of training
Familiar and able to comply with the Inter-cultural awareness
Thrive on handling multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
Key Responsibilities
Establish and develop anetwork of Workforce Australia / Job Active contacts, stakeholders, and other prospective customers to grow sales
Establish and maintain positive relationships internally and externally
Actively market scheduled courses and programs to Workforce Australia / Job Active contacts, stakeholders, and other prospective customers
Developopportunities to successful enrolment
Assist with enrolment ofstudents into their chosen course
Delivertraining and assessment to students, face-to-face in a classroom and online
Establish and maintain positive, professional relationships with students, parents, employers, and stakeholders, as required
Maintain student records to ensure compliance
Attendregular meetings with key clients and stakeholders
Assistwith compliance requirements in relation to learning and assessment resources
Maintain a highlevel of personal presentation

About Us:

Today we provide a suite of services under the framework of Workforce Australia, are a specialised RTO, have a successful training restaurant in Cairns, a Cafe in Launceston and provide outdoor activities at our Tarkine Wilderness Lodge and a National Driving School.
A current driver's licence and reliable car is required and as a Child Safe Organisation you will currently hold (or willing to obtain) a valid Working with Children Check and ability to pass a Criminal History Check.
