DNAare partnering with a well-established medical centre in Canberra's southern region to recruit a Practice Manager on a permanent full-time basis. With a team of 7 General Practitioners, 3 Registered Nurses, and 2 Allied Health professionals, this clinic has built a strong reputation within the local community and offers a collaborative and supportive working environment.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the clinic owners, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice while ensuring the delivery of outstanding patient care and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include:




Managing the daily operations of the clinic
Leading, mentoring and supporting administration and nursing teams
Workforce planning, rostering and staff performance management
Financial oversight including billing, accounts and reporting
Supporting accreditation processes and compliance requirements
Monitoring and improving operational efficiencies
Managing patient experience and service delivery standards
Liaising with GPs, Allied Health professionals and external stakeholders
Supporting business growth and practice development initiatives
Overseeing IT systems, policies and practice procedures
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
Previous experience as a Practice Manager within General Practice
Strong leadership and people management skills
Sound understanding of Medicare, billing and practice operations
Experience managing accreditation and compliance requirements
Excellent organisational and problem‐solving abilities
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience with General Practice software systems
Ability to lead by example and foster a positive team culture
