Occupational Therapist Contractor – NDIS
$116–$126 per billable hour | Flexible Hours | Established Referrals
Camden and South-West Sydney | Clinic, Community, Telehealth and Work From Home
Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist who wants the freedom of contracting without having to find your own referrals, manage bookings or operate in isolation?
Combined Therapy Services is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our growing multidisciplinary team as an independent contractor.
You will have the flexibility to choose your working days, hours, caseload size, participant groups and preferred service locations. We provide the referrals, administrative systems and professional support so you can focus on delivering excellent clinical services.
This opportunity would suit an Occupational Therapist seeking one to five days of flexible work per week, including an established clinician wanting to add a reliable NDIS caseload to their existing practice.

Opportunities to help shape and grow the Occupational Therapy service at CTS
About the Role
You will provide person-centred Occupational Therapy services to NDIS participants across the lifespan. Your caseload can be tailored according to your preferred age groups, clinical interests and areas of experience.
Services may include:
Functional Capacity Assessments
Comprehensive functional assessments
Assistive Technology assessments and recommendations
Minor and complex home modification assessments, where within your scope
Daily living and independent living skills assessments
Sensory processing assessments and intervention
Capacity-building therapy
Community access and participation support
Environmental assessments
Supported Independent Living and Specialist Disability Accommodation assessments
Progress reports and NDIS review reports
Collaboration with families, support coordinators and other treating professionals
You will be able to choose whether you focus primarily on assessments and reports, ongoing intervention, or a combination of both.
About You
You will be a confident and self-directed Occupational Therapist who values clinical autonomy while remaining connected to a supportive multidisciplinary team.
You will have:
A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
Current registration with AHPRA
At least two years of relevant clinical experience, preferably within the NDIS or disability sector
Experience completing Functional Capacity Assessments and high-quality NDIS reports
A sound understanding of functional capacity, disability and person-centred practice




Strong written communication, clinical reasoning and time-management skills
The ability to manage your own diary and complete documentation within agreed timeframes
Current professional indemnity and public liability and workers compensation insurance
An Australian Business Number
A current NDIS Worker Screening Check
A Working with Children Check where required
A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
Experience in Assistive Technology, home modifications, psychosocial disability, Autism, intellectual disability or complex support needs will be highly regarded.
