The Role
Based in Tennyson, you'll play a key role in keeping production running efficiently by maintaining and repairing plant equipment while ensuring safety and reliability remain a priority.
Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance across production equipment




Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults to minimise downtime
Supporting production through reliable equipment performance
Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives and plant upgrades
Maintaining accurate maintenance records
Ensuring compliance with site safety, hygiene and quality standards
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys solving mechanical problems and takes pride in delivering high-quality maintenance work.
You'll have:
Trade qualification as a
Fitter & Turner, Mechanical Fitter or equivalent
At least
3 years' experience
in a manufacturing maintenance environment
Experience within food manufacturing (highly regarded)
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs
Experience working within GMP and HACCP environments (preferred)
A proactive attitude with a strong commitment to workplace safety
The ability to work independently and within a close-knit maintenance team
