Business Development & Operations Manager – Medicinal Cannabis
Build relationships. Grow the business. Help shape the operation.
Endoca is a growing medicinal cannabis company with an established presence in the Australian market and ambitious plans for its next stage of growth.
Our portfolio is expanding, including the Australian launch of Khalifa Kush - a globally recognised brand and an exciting new entrant into the Australian medicinal cannabis market.
We are looking for a commercially driven, highly organised person to grow our presence across Queensland. You will build strong relationships with clinics, pharmacies, doctors and other industry partners while also helping improve the operational systems that support our growth.
This is not a role for someone who only wants to make sales calls. We need someone who can open doors, grow accounts, solve problems, follow through and make sure things actually get done.
For the right person, there is a genuine chance to take on broader operational responsibility as the company continues to grow.
The opportunity
You will initially focus on business development and account management across Queensland, working closely with clinics, pharmacies, prescribers and distribution partners.
Alongside sales, you will become involved in the day-to-day operation of the business, including product launches, account onboarding, stock coordination, sales reporting, forecasting, customer processes and internal projects.
Over time, we want this person to take ownership of a broader range of operational responsibilities and play an important role in how the business develops.
Key responsibilities
Business development and account growth
Build and manage relationships with clinics, pharmacies, doctors and other key industry partners across Queensland.
Identify and convert new business opportunities.
Grow existing accounts through consistent engagement, service and follow-through.
Develop a strong understanding of each account's needs, prescribing environment and supply pathway.
Represent Endoca and Khalifa Kush professionally at meetings, industry events and educational activities.
Maintain a consistent field presence and develop a strong network across the Queensland market.
Work toward agreed sales, distribution and account-growth targets.
Account management and product support
Support new clinics and pharmacies through onboarding, ordering and product-launch processes.
Provide accurate, compliant information about our products, availability and supply pathways.
Coordinate customer enquiries and ensure issues are followed through to resolution.
Maintain regular contact with key accounts and identify opportunities or risks early.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a high standard of service.
Operations and execution
Help coordinate product launches, account setup, stock availability and customer communications.
Maintain accurate CRM records, sales activity, account notes and follow-up actions.
Prepare market feedback for management.
Identify gaps or inefficiencies in our processes and help implement practical improvements.
Take ownership of projects and operational issues from start to finish.
Work across sales, customer service, logistics, regulatory and management functions.
Support the leadership team with key growth initiatives and progressively take responsibility for broader business operations.
About you
We are open to candidates from pharmaceutical sales, medicinal cannabis, healthcare, pharmacy, medical devices, FMCG or another relationship-driven industry.
You may already be an experienced business development manager, account manager or pharmaceutical representative. Alternatively, you may be an operationally solid person with an excellent commercial mindset and established industry relationships.
What matters most is that you can build relationships,
create opportunities and execute reliably.
You will ideally have:
Experience in business development, account management, pharmaceutical sales, healthcare or a related field.
Existing relationships with clinics, pharmacies, doctors or other healthcare stakeholders in Queensland.
A strong understanding of the Australian medicinal cannabis market.
Excellent organisation, follow-up and record-keeping skills.
The ability to manage multiple priorities without losing attention to detail.
Experience using a CRM and maintaining accurate sales activity and account records.
Confidence working autonomously and taking responsibility for outcomes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A current drivers licence and willingness to travel throughout Queensland.
Experience with pharmaceutical operations, product launches, forecasting, logistics, distribution or regulatory processes will be highly regarded.
You will thrive here if you:
Are commercially ambitious but also highly operational.
Enjoy building relationships and opening new doors.
Do not wait to be told what needs to happen next.
Follow through on commitments and close the loop.
Can move comfortably between customer meetings, sales activity and hands‐on problem-solving.
Remain organised while working in a fast-moving and evolving business.
Want the opportunity to grow beyond a traditional sales position.
Are willing to work hard and take genuine ownership of your territory and responsibilities.
What we offer
A competitive base salary plus performance-based incentives.
Car allowance and tools of trade.
The opportunity to represent Endoca and help launch Khalifa Kush in the Australian medicinal market.
Direct access to senior leadership and the ability to influence how the business grows.
Genuine career progression into a broader operations or leadership role.
A fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment where strong performance is recognised.
The opportunity to join a growing company at an important stage of its development.
