With the Sydney and in particular the Melbourne Construction Market rapidly declining, the shift of construction activity has moved to Northern NSW and QLD. This is in response to a substantial population shift in recent years to the North where cheaper housing, warmer weather and a more active lifestyle is available.
One particular location that has seen unprecedented growth is the North Coast of NSW, with a number of coastal towns building infrastructure to cope with demand. Projects include Transportation and Urban Infrastructure and although the big projects get all the attention, it's the smaller projects that develop the skills and management styles necessary to rise through the ranks!
In2work has partnered with 3 contractors that are active in that area, and their current urgent needs are for
Site and Project Engineers
to coordinate in office construction engineering activities to achieve project time and budget objectives!
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:




Coordinating and administer construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs and specifications.
Interpreting designs for implementation in construction projects.
Arranging and overseeing the letting of tenders.
Preparing site package construction budgets and reports.
Monitoring construction progress for adherence to programme and report to the Senior Project Engineer.
Supervising direct labour and sub-contractors
Implementing OHS, QA and Environmental management systems
Projects include:
- CV$200m Road Upgrade to TFNSW standards – 2x Site Engineers, 1 x Project Engineer
