About the Role
We are seeking experienced
Carpenters, Cabinet Makers, Concreters and Trades Assistants
to join our team on a casual basis.
Our work includes commercial building projects, fit-outs, refurbishments, carpentry and concrete works across North Queensland. We are looking for reliable, motivated people who take pride in producing quality workmanship and enjoy working on a variety of projects.
This role offers flexibility while providing regular opportunities to work across multiple commercial construction sites.
What We Offer
Competitive casual hourly rate of
$40–$50 per hour
, depending on experience
Flexible casual work (approximately 2–3 days per week)
Ongoing work across a variety of commercial construction projects
Opportunity to work on different project sites throughout North Queensland

Typical Work Includes
Small commercial building projects
Office and retail fit-outs
Carpentry and framing
Concrete pours and finishing
Internal fit-outs
General construction activities associated with commercial projects
Requirements
Trade qualification in
Carpentry, Cabinet Making or Concreting
,
or
demonstrated experience as a Trades Assistant in commercial construction
Current Construction White Card
Current Driver Licence
Reliable transport
Own basic hand tools (trade-specific tools preferred)
Ability to read plans and follow project instructions (where applicable)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team
Commitment to workplace health and safety
Willingness to undergo Drug & Alcohol Screening and Police Check if required
Previous experience in commercial construction
Formwork and concrete finishing experience
Cabinet installation or shopfitting experience
Ability to interpret construction drawings
Experience with commercial fit-outs
Working at Heights certification
Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Licence
First Aid Certificate
Excavator, skid steer or other plant operating experience
