Service Technician
to join our field service team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring electrician, electrical trainee or experienced technician who enjoys hands-on work, fault-finding and providing great customer service. If you are working towards an electrical qualification you will have the opportunity to apply your learning in a practical field-service environment.

About the role
Reporting to the Service Operations Manager, you will:
Install, service and repair high-speed and specialty door systems
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults
Complete preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns
Liaise professionally with customers regarding repairs and installations
Coordinate required parts and stock with the service team
Complete service reports and safety documentation accurately
Maintain your company vehicle, tools and equipment
Follow all company, site and health and safety requirements
Work flexibly, including overtime, call-outs and occasional weekend work when required.
About you
You may be building your electrical career or already have experience in field service, installation or maintenance.
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
Practical electrical, mechanical,



service or installation experience
Robust fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Confidence using tools and working with technical equipment
A safety-first approach
Clear communication and customer-service skills
Good organisation, reliability and attention to detail
The ability to travel to customer sites and safely perform the physical requirements of the role, including working at heights
*Experience with roller shutters, rapid roll doors, sectional doors, docking equipment or control systems would be advantageous but not essential. An EWP, scissor-lift or forklift licence would also be beneficial.
On the Job Support
You will receive practical, on-the-job support from experienced technicians. You will develop your skills across specialist door systems, electrical and mechanical fault-finding, preventative maintenance and breakdown response, with opportunities to grow your field-service career.
