Spencer Constructions (Qld) Pty Ltd is an established residential and commercial building company based in North Brisbane. We are a custom builder with a focus on high quality, architecturally designed new homes, renovations and extensions, as well as commercial projects such as childcare & retail centres, office refits & warehouses etc. We also construct and install modular buildings. Currently, our projects range in size up to $4million and are positioned across Brisbane and SE Qld.
Due to a depth of project work booked in, we are now seeking another experienced and qualified Leading Hand Carpenter to join our team.

Role on offer:
'hands-on' L/H Carpenter within our Residential division
40 hours/wk (Monday-Friday 6.30am-3.30pm) plus O/T and RDO opportunities
Full time, permanent positions (with initial 3 month probationary period)
Requirements




L/H Carpenter- Fully qualified with a minimum of 3+ years carpentry experience (post apprenticeship) plus 12 months or more in L/H role; Own tools, current Australian driver's licence and suitable vehicle
Ability to take direction, give direction, mentor and work as part of a team
Great communication, 'can do' but safety conscious attitude and hold themselves to high standards on and off-site
Exceptional level of work planning, quality, critical thinking and problem-solving skills- solutions focused
High level of energy, personal productivity and self-motivation
Eagerness to learn new knowledge & skills. Having a business owner's mindset is highly desirable.
