Key Responsibilities
Estimate tender packages in accordance with Tender Procedure,
Contribute to the execution methodology,
Produce accurate, transparent and market competitive direct and indirect cost estimates using first principles and norms methods consistent with the agreed execution methodology,
Understanding of Enterprise Agreements and cost build ups to develop labour rate calculations.
Attend site visits and contribute to methodology development, scoping and sequencing,




Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure all required estimate data is received in a timely manner so that the estimate may be produced to meet tender timelines,
Identify Project risks and opportunities and qualify or price as advised by the Bid Manager,
Participate in Client tender presentations and tender clarification process as required,
Prepare handover documentation to Project team for successful Project awards.
Qualifications
Successful multi discipline estimating experience in the WA Resources and Energy sector for maintenance, shutdown and project works values ranging from $1m up to $100m+.
Construction contractor direct-hire labour, plant, and materials experience.
Degree qualified engineering, trade certificate or equivalent with relevant industry specific field experience.
Proven success pricing and winning "First Principle" bids.
Intermediate-Advanced user of Excel.Sound commercial acumen including understanding project cost and scheduling.
Well-rounded communication-verbal/written and leadership ability.
Excellent planning, logistics, time management and delivery skills.
Ability to analyse and solve complex problems within a fast-paced environment.
