Nichols Poultry Tasmania is seeking an experienced and hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead our HR function across the business.
This standalone role offers the prospect to partner with leaders, influence culture, and support a growing organisation. Reporting to the Executive Leadership Team, with day-to-day reporting to the Managing Director, you'll provide practical HR advice and leadership across all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for:
Providing HR advice and support to managers and employees.
Managing employee relations, performance management and workplace investigations.
Leading recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning.
Coaching leaders and building people capability.
Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, awards and company policies.
Supporting learning and development, organisational change and continuous improvement.
Managing HR reporting,
records and people initiatives that drive engagement and performance.
About You
You'll have:
A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
5 plus years' experience in a senior HR Advisor, HR Business Partner or HR Manager role.
Solid knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial relations.
Experience supporting manufacturing, agriculture or operational workforces (highly regarded).
Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
The ability to work autonomously while building strong relationships across the business.
