Senior Receptionist
to become a valued member of our team.
We pride ourselves on delivering excellent care to our patients – and that starts with a compassionate, organised, and efficient front desk team.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience working in a GP clinic.
Strong knowledge of Best Practice (or similar).
Understanding of Medicare item numbers and how they're applied.
A minimum of 1-2 years of GP clinic experience is required.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Greeting and booking patients in with a warm and professional manner.
Answering incoming phone calls and assisting with patient enquiries.
Managing billing and receipting, maintaining appointment schedules, scanning and filing documents.
Supporting doctors with general administrative tasks.




Working collaboratively with the team to manage the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
Staying organised and efficient in a busy, fast-paced environment.
This casual position requires a minimum of 8-15 hours per week.
Preferred Skills & Attributes:
Excellent communication and reception skills – both face-to-face and over the phone.
Strong multitasking abilities and a calm, professional approach during busy times.
A team player with the confidence to work independently when needed.
Familiarity with RACGP Accreditation standards and the ability to follow practice policies and procedures.
