About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Motel Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of Parkview Motor Inn. This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient management of accommodation services, guest relations, staff leadership, financial performance, and property presentation.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
•Manage the daily operations of the motel, ensuring reception, reservations, housekeeping, and guest services operate efficiently and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
•Oversee room allocations, occupancy levels, online booking platforms, and reservation systems to maximise revenue and optimise room availability.
•Lead, train, supervise, and support reception, housekeeping, and maintenance staff to maintain high standards of service and operational performance.
•Monitor cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance of guest rooms, common areas, gardens, and external facilities to ensure the property remains in excellent condition.
•Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries, requests, complaints, and feedback, implementing appropriate solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.




•Coordinate routine property maintenance and engage external contractors where required to ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and well presented.
•Monitor operating budgets, purchasing activities, stock levels, supplier relationships, and daily financial transactions to support efficient business operations.
•Prepare operational reports, monitor occupancy trends, and assist in implementing strategies to improve revenue, guest retention, and overall business performance.
•Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, accommodation industry standards, and all relevant regulatory obligations.
•Support the promotion of the motel through online travel agencies, direct bookings, and local tourism initiatives while maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients and travel partners.
•Provide guests with information about local attractions, restaurants, transport options, and tourism experiences to enhance their overall stay.
•Foster a positive team culture focused on professionalism, accountability, continuous improvement, and outstanding guest service.

Qualifications:
•Diploma or higher qualification in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related discipline
•Minimum 3 years experience in motel, hotel, or accommodation management.

•Strong leadership and team management skills within a hospitality environment.
•Experience using accommodation booking and property management systems.
•Excellent communication, organisational, and customer service skills.
•Sound financial, administrative, and problem-solving abilities.
•Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced environment while managing multiple operational priorities.
•Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and hospitality industry regulations.
