Care Consultancy is seeking an experienced and solutions‐focused IT Systems Administrator to join our IT team. This role is responsible for maintaining the operational efficiency, security and availability of our IT systems and services, supporting users across desktops, servers, mobile devices, cloud environments and business systems.

About the role
Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Systems Administrator will provide technical support, systems administration and infrastructure maintenance across the organisation. You will work closely with the IT team, employees, departments and external vendors to ensure IT issues are resolved promptly and systems continue to operate securely and effectively.
Key responsibilities
Maintaining IT infrastructure, including networks, cloud environments, mobile device fleet and data storage
Performing administrator functions across Microsoft Azure, Entra, Exchange, Intune, SharePoint and Teams
Providing technical support to end users and assisting with IT issue resolution
Coordinating onboarding and offboarding of user accounts, permissions and passwords
Supporting cybersecurity measures and compliance requirements
Identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation and system optimisation
Contributing technical expertise to technology projects
Supporting users through training and guidance to improve technology literacy

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Proven experience in a similar IT support or systems administration role
Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, applications and cybersecurity best practice
Experience administering Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, Entra and Intune
Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
The ability to remain calm and resourceful when resolving technical issues
A commitment to continuous improvement, learning and quality service delivery
Essential requirements
Applicants must have:
A National Police Certificate obtained within the last three months
Confirmation of right to work in Australia, including VEVO check where applicable
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent industry qualifications
Microsoft Azure certifications
SharePoint / Office 365 certification
At least four years' experience in a similar IT support role
Desirable experience
Experience in any of the following areas will be highly regarded:
System administration automation
Power Automate, PowerShell or Python scripting
Business application support, including CRM, ERP or reporting systems
Power BI or similar reporting tools
Project management toolsCybersecurity
JavaScript or other development experience
