Job Description
Wood delivers maintenance and turnaround services for the Ampol Lytton Refinery and is seeking
experienced heavy industry Trades Assistants
for the upcoming mid‐year FCCU shutdown. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast‐paced, high‐performing team working on a major refinery event, commencing at the
beginning of June
for approximately 8 weeks.
This short‐term role offers strong EBA benefits and rates, all while allowing you to remain based at home. Penalty rates apply.
As this is a Brisbane‐based role, only local applicants will be considered at this time.
Applicants must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for the role.

Demonstrable robust focus and commitment to safety
Enjoy working in a team environment and self‐motivated
Ability to work autonomously when required, while taking ownership of the role.
Qualifications
Proven TA maintenance experience in heavy industry environments
Previous shutdown/T&I; experience is a definite advantage
Current forklift licence desirable, but not essential
Excellent communication skills
Working at heights and confined space tickets
Availability to pass a Wood medical, after providing the required safety tickets, construction card and driver's licence to MyPass.
