Associate Director, Investment Relations

Our client is seeking an Associate Director to support the delivery of a newly established investment program. Working closely with the Head of the Program and broader Investment Relations team, you will
manage investment enquiries and proposals
, build
relationships with partner banks
and prospective applicants, and
support the assessment and progression of investment opportunities
through a structured investment process.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of the Program, you will:
Act as the first point of contact for investment enquiries and proposals.
Build and maintain relationships with partner banks and organisations seeking investment.
Conduct initial screening and commercial assessment of investment opportunities.
Support early-stage due diligence and prepare briefing materials for investment decision making.
Manage and maintain the investment opportunity pipeline, ensuring accurate reporting and tracking.
Monitor market activity and identify trends, risks and emerging opportunities.
Ensure investment activity aligns with internal governance, compliance and risk frameworks.
About You
You will bring experience from asset management, banking or a related financial services environment and have a genuine interest in investment assessment, stakeholder engagement and commercial decision making.
To be successful, you will have:
Experience supporting investment, lending or transaction processes.
Robust analytical skills with the ability to assess commercial and financial opportunities.
Experience conducting due diligence or evaluating investment opportunities.
Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
The ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured, fast-paced environment.
A tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, Commerce or a related discipline. Postgraduate qualifications such as a CFA or MBA will be well regarded but are not essential.
