Gympie Mental Health is a dynamic team working in a large geographical area, providing comprehensive assessment, treatment and case management to consumers with severe and complex mental health problems. This position will be based in the Adult Team, working in either the Continuing Care Team and / or Acute Care Team. Within the service there are other sub-teams: Cultural Healing Program, Emergency Mental Health and Older Persons Mental Health. At times, this position may be required to support any number of these teams if operationally required, to support the high level of care provided to consumers.
Key Responsibilities include:
Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, protected services and workplaces.
Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) – State **** – Generic Level Statements Nurse Grade 6, Band 1 and the Queensland Public Service values.
Understand your broad responsibilities for safety and quality in healthcare,
actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace and notify a relevant clinical or non-clinical responsible officer when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety.
Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
Remuneration value up to $****** p.a, comprising salary rates $***** - $***** p.h., (part time, 60.8 hrs p.f.), employer contribution to superannuation ******%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (NRG6 (1)).
