Job Description
Kiama Golf Club is seeking an experienced and talented Chef (Sous Chef or Chef De Partie) to join our dedicated team in Kiama Downs, NSW. Applicants may apply for either Sous Chef or Chef De Partie level positions.
What you'll be doing
1. Implementing creative, seasonal menus that cater to a range of dietary requirements
2. Overseeing the day-to-day kitchen operations, including food preparation, plating, and presentation
3. Maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards
4. Effectively managing kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance reviews
5. Collaborating with the management team to ensure exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests
6. Keeping up to date with industry trends and Best practices
Qualifications and requirements
Best practices We are looking for - 1. Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Chef in a similar role,



preferably in a hospitality or large -scale catering delivery environment
2. Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation and food safety regulations
3. Current Food Safety Supervisor certification is required
4. Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
5. Proven leadership and team management skills
6. Passion for creating high quality, cutting-edge dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
8. Relevant qualifications in Culinary Arts or a related field
9. Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification required
10. Must hold valid Australian work rights including work visa
