About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Civil Leading Hand to join our Infrastructure Services team based at Hendra, working across projects in the greater Brisbane region.
This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys being on site, leading a civil crew, and delivering high-quality electrical infrastructure works.
You'll be working closely with Supervisors and Project teams to ensure secure, productive, and compliant delivery.
Key Responsibilities
As a Civil Leading Hand, you will:
Lead and coordinate daily civil site activities
Supervise and support a civil crew on electrical infrastructure projects
Work on and off machinery as required
Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
Coordinate works around live services
Maintain productivity, quality and site standards
Support the Supervisor with planning and reporting
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll bring solid civil experience with a practical leadership approach.
Ideally, you'll have:




Valid excavator licence and posi-track tickets (minimum 12 months experience)
5+ years' experience as a Leading Hand or Supervisor
Experience delivering electrical civil or infrastructure works
Familiarity with TMR standards
Experience working around live services
MR driver's licence (preferred but not essential)
Willingness to work on and off machinery
Strong organisational, planning and communication skills
A calm, reliable leadership style and strong team focus
Energex accreditations are advantageous but not essential.
