We are seeking a permanent part time lead educator (4 days per week during term times) up to 37 hours per week in our 3-5's group
We're a 60-place term time Community Child Care Centre with a single Kindergarten unit in Clayfield.We provide care during school term times from 7:30 am to 4:30 pmand provide vacation care during the Easter, June/July, and September school term breaks.
We enjoy a long tradition of providing quality early childhood education and have an exceeding rating from ACECQA.
On-call and vacation care shifts are also available to the successful applicant.
We're looking for someone who:
Enjoys variety and all ages
Has experience with children of all ages
Has minimum 2 years experience working with children aged 0-5 years, including documented experience in planning and implementing educational programs
Is passionate about education




Has a relevant qualification (Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent)
Must hold a minimum Diploma level qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
Demonstrates thorough knowledge of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
Must have current Blue Card and Working With Children Check before start date.
Child Protection Certificate and ACECQA recognised first-aid qualification must be obtained within 4 weeks of employment
Blue Card and Working With Children Check must be obtained before submitting application
Current certifications in CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis management (or willing to obtain within 4 weeks)
Candidates must have permanent Australian work rights or appropriate visa to be considered.
