We are involved in all aspects of transporting live birds from the growing farms to the processing plant, moving everything from eggs to fully grown birds.
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Griffth team in the brand new state of the art facility in Griffith (Hanwood) supporting the WHS Coordinator.
About the Role:
Work closely with the WHS Coordinator, National WHS Manager and Branch Manager to align WHS activities across the company, ensuring a cooperative approach to WHS management.
Manage Uniform and PPE stock and distribution, and regularly perform stock takes.
Work closely with External parties to address Site Condition Reports.
Manage re-stocking of first aid kits around site
Participate and assist with audits
Conduct regular sites safety inspections, report on findings and the required corrective actions.
Assist in implementation of WHS policies and procedures and monitor WHS and Environment performance.
Assist in reviewing and implementation of SOP's, Task instructions and training materials for the business.




Assist in managing our incident reporting system (Safety Culture).
Assist in injury management at site level
Assist site workers in training and re-training.
Skills Required:
Highly developed communication skills
Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a broader team
Demonstrated ability to identify hazards & the associated risks and provide practical solutions to address it.
Experience in creating WHS type documents
Exceptional Time management skills
Problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to investigate issues and find solutions
Honesty and integrity
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Certificate IV in Work Health Safety (preferred not essential)
Drivers License
