CIHE Australia is a private HEI operating in North Sydney, Hurstville, Perth and Canberra.
We are currently seeking to appoint a Student Support Officer for the Philippine market to join our growing team in Sydney.
Responsibilities
Provide marketing advice and assistance to the senior management team, particularly for the Philippine market
Identify and create opportunities to develop the brand and profile of CIHE
Liaise with onshore and offshore education agents dealing with the Philippine market
Work with the student support manager to provide explicit orientation and guidance to students regarding the support services available to them.
Where appropriate, refer students to relevant academic staff for academic support services
Where appropriate, refer students to external services for personal support.
Provides information to students about the use of the CIHE grievance procedure.
Provide advice to students in person via front desk operations and online.
Understand the importance of inclusion, equality, and diversity.




Provide information to students about taking care of their well-being and safety.
Assist in the planning for and provision of support to students with disabilities and/or additional needs.
Selection Criteria
Undergraduate Qualifications in business, marketing, or related discipline
Knowledge of and experience in the support of international students, preferably in a higher education context
Professional experience in marketing preferably in the international higher education sector
An understanding of the needs of students
Ability to work well as part of a team
Familiarity with the legal and regulatory frameworks governing Higher Education in Australia, especially as these relate to international students
A good understanding of how to respond to the needs of different stakeholders
Experience in quality assurance, including the monitoring, reporting on, and improvement of services.
