We are looking for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper / Accounts Manager who can take ownership of our day-to-day financial operations while helping us strengthen the reporting, systems and insights that support the growth of our business.

More than keeping the books
The fundamentals of this role are important.
Our accounts need to be accurate, our reporting needs to be timely and our financial operations need to run smoothly.
However, we are looking for someone who can go beyond processing transactions and invoices.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will help us understand what the numbers are telling us, identify opportunities for improvement and provide the financial visibility we need to make better business decisions.
We also want you to look for smarter ways of working.
This includes using technology, automation and AI where appropriate to reduce repetitive administration and free up more time for analysis, planning and work that creates genuine value.
What you will own
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions
Monitoring cash flow and supporting forward financial planning




Preparing financial forecasts, budgets and management reports
Coordinating financial reporting and required lodgements
Processing payroll and employee expense claims
Maintaining accurate, timely and well‐organised financial records for projects and across the business
Providing practical financial insights and recommendations to the Managing Director
Supporting commercial planning and business decision‐making
Identifying opportunities to strengthen financial systems, controls and processes
Using technology and automation to streamline routine and repetitive tasksMaintaining strong relationships and clear communication with internal and external stakeholders
What you will bring
We are looking for someone with:
A minimum of five years' experience in an accounts, bookkeeping or similar financial role
At least five years' experience using Xero
Strong bookkeeping, financial reporting, forecasting and cash flow management capabilities
Excellent attention to detail and time management
The ability to work autonomously, take initiative and follow through
A growth mindset and genuine interest in how a business operates and to learn new software packages
The confidence to identify opportunities and recommend practical improvements




A willingness to use technology to work more effectively and create greater value
Strong communication skills and the confidence to work directly with senior leaders and external partners
Experience within creative services or a professional services setting would be highly regarded
