We are looking for a motivated Truck Service Fitter who wants to build a strong career in commercial tyres and be part of a growing, customer-focused team.
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Truck Service Fitter to support our commercial, fleet and retail customers.
This role suits someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates well with customers, and can work independently as well as within a team.
Also, the role would expect to interaction with customers.
The successful candidate will be involved in truck, light commercial and passenger tyre fitting, puncture repairs, wheel balancing, onsite customer service, yard visits and callouts.
You will play an important role in keeping customers' vehicles safe, compliant and back on the road quickly.
What We Are Looking For
· Previous tyre fitting experience, ideally across truck, light commercial or fleet vehicles.
· A current driver licence; light truck or rigid commercial vehicle licence will be highly regarded.
· Good knowledge of commercial tyre work, tyre wear, tyre damage and safe fitting practices.
· Ability to work safely, follow procedures and comply with OH&S; requirements at our workshop and customer sites.
· Strong reliability, punctuality and willingness to assist with callouts and occasional weekend work.
· Confidence to work unsupervised, solve practical problems and make sound decisions on site.
· A positive attitude,
strong customer service mindset and ability to work well with our team.
· Physical fitness and ability to perform hands-on tyre fitting work in a safe and qualified manner.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
· Remove, fit, repair and replace truck, light commercial and passenger vehicle tyres.
· Inspect tyres for damage, wear patterns, pressure issues and safety concerns.
· Carry out puncture repairs in line with relevant industry standards.
· Balance wheels and identify wheel balance or vibration-related issues.
· Attend customer yards and fleet sites to complete tyre fitting, inspections and service work.
· Communicate clearly with customers regarding tyre condition, service requirements and safety recommendations.
· Maintain a clean, safe and professionally presented work area, vehicle and equipment.
· Follow all safety procedures, site requirements and company standards.
· Support the workshop team with general tyre, wheel alignment and customer service activities where required.

Complete allocated tyre fitting, repair,
balancing and onsite jobs accurately and within agreed timeframes.

Maintain professional communication with customers, provide clear recommendations and support repeat business.
Quality of workmanship
Ensure tyre fitting, repairs and inspections are completed to company and industry standards with minimal rework.
Callout response
Respond reliably to rostered callouts and urgent fleet work when required.
Fleet inspections
Record tyre condition, tread depth, pressure concerns and replacement recommendations accurately during yard visits.
Team contribution
Support workshop operations, assist team members and contribute to a positive, productive work environment.
