About the Role
As an Early Childhood Teacher at The Grove Academy, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping young minds and inspiring both children and your team.
You'll bring your teaching expertise to life through creative and meaningful programs that foster children's growth and development in a safe and engaging environment.
Key responsibilities
Implementing innovative, fun and milestone aligned teaching practices
Mentoring and guiding educators in their professional growth
Building strong, positive relationships with children, families, and your team
Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children to thrive
Supporting children's development through observation, documentation, and reflection
Ensuring the safety, health and wellbeing of all children is prioritised at all times
Actively supervising children and maintaining awareness of risks in the environment
Reporting any concerns or incidents in line with service policies and procedures
Skills & Experience
We're looking for someone who is passionate, driven, and ready to lead by example.
To excel in this role, you'll need:
A Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or working towards one)
Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and child development
Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A positive attitude and a love for creating meaningful learning experiences
Strong understanding of child protection responsibilities and mandatory reporting
Ability to identify and respond to risks to children's safety
Completed the Foundations of Child Safety training (or willing to complete prior to commencement).
Successful applicants will be required to hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
