This position will lead detail design, management and financial control to successfully deliver allocated projects. To ensure completion within (or below) cost and non-cost objectives. This involves coordination of the project team and liaison with other stakeholders to ensure the safe, effective and effective delivery of all aspects of the works package, including safety, workplace, community, schedule and cost.

Responsibilities
Lead engineering and technical delivery across all phases of the project lifecycle.
Monitor compliance with applicable codes, practices, performance standards and specifications.
Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.




Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status.
Assign responsibilities and mentor the project team.
Cooperate and communicate effectively with Project Manager and other project participants to provide aid and technical support.
Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
Identify and resolve technical and construction challenges with practical, solutions-focused thinking.
Mentor and develop Project Engineers and Site Engineers, fostering a high-performing team culture.
Solid technical expertise in design coordination, construction methodologies and project delivery
Demonstrated leadership experience managing and mentoring engineering teams
Sound commercial acumen, including procurement, contract administration and cost management
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
