About the role
You will work closely with our small team to protect the natural and cultural values of the parks estate through the delivery of a range of programs, including pest plant and animal management, native vegetation management, conserving cultural values, fire and emergency management, maintenance of essential park services and infrastructure, and visitor engagement and compliance.
You will demonstrate a strong personal work ethic and actively participate in a team environment ensuring that the overall success of the team is a measured outcome.
This position is based in Nathalia and involves a heavy field‐based element, but will also require project management and administration‐based skills.

Demonstrated ability to operate safely in remote areas and solve problems independently
Great self‐awareness and ability to work coopoeratively within a small team
Motivated, ability to communicate well, and who enjoys engaging with community and park visitors
Aptitude to undertake management of small, simple projects
Demonstrable practical maintenance knowledge and skills
Chainsaw, 4WD and other plant and machinery qualifications an advantage
