Our Client is looking for Sidekicks to join their existing teams of Freight Handlers to work on the AM or PM shift at their Darra location.
This role involves a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
Manual sorting and allocation of parcels it into an appropriate area for delivery; Via Postcode, Destination, and Branch.
Loading/Unloading of parcels onto conveyor belts.
Loading/Unloading trucks and containers.
Use of RF Scanners & Manual Pallet Jack
Packing ULD cages
AM Shifts:5:30am - 11am Rate: $*****
PM Shifts: 3.15pm - 8pm Rate: $*****
Please note that these rates are fixed for these shift times, so if the shift is slightly different, the rate might also change, so the source of truth on rate will be on the job requests when they are posted on the sidekicker app.
Requirements:




A valid police check obtained within the last 12 months (or willing to obtain)
YELLOW Hi-vis vest with reflective stripes and steel capped boots
Excellent communications skills, written and verbal
Ability to lift up to 20kgs on a consistent basis, and to be on your feet for the duration of the shift.
Enthusiasm, and unafraid of hard work!
Wiilling to undergo a full medical test including drug and alcohol testing
