About the Role
This role is responsible for all aspects of packaging, Material purchasing and supply planning.
The role manages capacity planning, purchase order creation and management.
This will involve supplier coordination with imported and local suppliers.
A key objective is to optimise stock availability while balancing working capital, lead times and production constraints.
The role will work closely with all Supply Chain pillars; Customer Service, Demand and NPD to ensure the AUS/NZ Supply Chain is agile and customer focused with a focus on continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain capacity plans based on demand forecasts and inventory targets.
Support the Production manager to align production schedules with available capacity and supplier lead times
Raise purchase orders in SAP ECC for packaging, imported materials and finished goods
Monitor and manage open orders to ensure on-time delivery
Track and adjust order quantities/timing in response to demand or supply changes
Regularly run MRP, forward planning including material availability checks
Ensure labelling work orders and consumable order processes are managed
Maintain key vendor schedule reports
Manage supplier performance on lead times, service levels, and communication
What You Will Bring
Tertiary Qualifications in a related field desirable
Proven experience in a supply planning role within FMCG
Experience with short shelf life or perishable products
Strong stakeholder management skills
Working knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP)
Experience working in material requirements planning
Solid time Management and organisational skills
Attention to detail
