Diesel Mechanic (Heavy Vehicle) - Gladstone | Day Shift
You'll be hands-on in the workshop, responsible for keeping a modern heavy vehicle fleet safe, compliant and on the road.
Working across trucks and trailers, you'll carry out a mix of servicing, diagnostics and repairs.
Diagnose faults and complete mechanical repairs across diesel, hydraulic, pneumatic and auto electrical systems
Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
Work from job cards to deliver quality repairs in a timely manner
Maintain compliance with NHVAS and safety standards
Identify issues early and contribute to a safe, efficient workshop environment
What you will bring
Trade qualified (Cert III Heavy Vehicle Mechanical or similar)
Proven experience working on heavy vehicles and trailers
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Reliable, safety-focused and able to work well within a team
Good communication skills and a professional approach to your work
