Anglicare Tasmania's Curraghmore Residential and Recovery Support Service provides residential support in a community setting.
You will be responsible for providing recovery-oriented support for participants by assisting them to maximise their independence and to facilitate their return to community living by fostering independent living skills such as cooking, budgeting, shopping and community engagement.
What we are looking for in an employee
Demonstrated experience working in a team-oriented, cross-sectoral, team-based approach to service delivery with people with diagnosed mental health conditions;
The ability to be able to contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of training and other programs for participants;
A minimum qualification at the Certificate level in Mental Health (or relevant experience and willingness to undertake this level of training);
Accredited Medication Endorsement (training can be provided);
The availability to work all roster shift types including an awake overnight shift.

The successful applicant will be required to
provide a current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration (employment/volunteer category) including NDIS Worker Screening Check if you are applying for the 1st time or have renewed your registration since 1 st February ****
Present a National Police Check - Unsupervised with children (no older than 12 months and not an annulled record);
Provide an International Police Check if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia after the age of 16;
Undertake a satisfactory Anglicare assessed medical
Provide a current provisional or full Australian Driver Licence
On commencement the successful applicant will be required to undertake our structured Safeguarding Children Training program.
