Essential Coffee is seeking a positive, motivated, dedicated, hands-on Senior Finance professional to manage and lead the Accounting, Finance, and Company Secretarial functions while partnering closely with the CEO, Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and Board to execute effective strategies aligned with the company's goals.
Reporting directly to the CFO, this role offers genuine career progression, with the current CFO planning to retire in the near term.
THE ROLEThis is a full-time Senior Leadership role that can be based at our Burleigh Heads office on the Gold Coast, Point Cook (Melbourne), Adelaide (SA), Bibra Lake (WA), or Hamilton (New Zealand).
There is also the option to work 30 hours per week, providing greater flexibility for family commitments.This senior Finance, Accounting, and Company Secretarial role supports both Australia and New Zealand and includes:Oversight of payroll, BAS, payroll tax, workers' compensation, and FBT lodgements, along with all statutory reporting across Australia and New ZealandPreparation of annual budgets, stock, inventory, and sales forecastsPreparation of monthly and year-end financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standardsMonitoring and reporting on cash flow and expenditureFinancial, management, Board, and shareholder reportingContinuous improvement of reporting, systems, controls, and proceduresLeadership, management,
