We are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team.
This role will see you managing the Balcatta warehouse, floor staff and providing appropriate support to the National Warehouse Manager to ensure that the warehouse targets and KPI's are met.
This role involves a combination of site management and administrative responsibilities.
It is ideally suited to a hands-on, proactive, and self-motivated individual who leads by example, inspires and supports their team, and is committed to driving continuous improvement across the site.
Reporting to the National Warehouse Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
Ensuring the warehouse runs efficiently and the operation adheres to KPIs in line with company targets
Managing the daily operations of a fast-paced warehouse with receiving and despatch
Managing inventory by conducting regular and accurate cycle counts and stock takes
Completing daily productivity reports
Managing and motivating a team of up to 15 people, with constant growth
Adhering to WHS procedures and policies and promoting a protected workplace
Maintaining positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
To be successful in this role you will have:
Proven track record as a Warehouse Manager and leading a team
A minimum 5 years' experience within a similar role
Strategic thinking capabilities
Ability to train and mentor staff
A valid
forklift
licence and a current Drivers Licence
Demonstrated leadership competency which includes delivering results and meeting KPI's, leading by example and having a hands-on approach
Experience in implementing and following WHS requirements
Experience using SAP would be advantageous
