We're looking for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our growing team at our new Yatala depot.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in establishing and growing the mechanical function within a current location, where your experience, initiative and leadership will make a real impact.
Working on a fleet of more than 1,000 vehicles, you'll enjoy the autonomy to make decisions, support apprentices, and help drive workshop excellence while being backed by a business that continues to invest in its people, equipment and network.
What You'll Be Doing
Servicing, maintaining and repairing a modern fleet of heavy vehicles
Diagnosing faults using industry-leading diagnostic equipment
Conducting safety inspections and compliance checks
Maintaining accurate service and repair records
Working closely with operational teams to keep freight moving safely
Supporting and mentoring apprentices
Contributing to the growth and success of our new Yatala workshop
About You
Certificate III in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology
Minimum 5 years post-apprenticeship experience
Ability to work independently and confidently make decisions
Current HR Licence (essential)
Forklift Licence (advantageous)




Experience with Volvo and Kenworth trucks highly regarded
Strong communication and organisational skills
Safety-focused with a commitment to quality workmanship
Comfortable working autonomously while contributing to a team environment
